Light Sensation, MAEPS Serdang

September 10, 2016
Light Sensation

Last week, my family and I thought of going to the Light Sensation. It was an event that showcase a total of 30,000 LED white roses located in Serdang, Selangor. According to the Light Sensation website, the event will break the Guinness World Record as “The Most LED Lights Lit in Relay” and aims to promote Malaysia internationally and bring worldwide recognition to the country. So i went to buy the tickets at the nearest 7 Eleven. It costs us RM16 per ticket.

We invited grandaunt too, we call her Gu Poh, hehe. So we had early mid-autumn dinner with Gu Poh and headed to MAEPS straight after that. It was soooo crowded we did not expect that. I thought it should be less crowded since most of the Malays went back to their hometown for Hari Haji. >.< And we were lucky that we bought the tickets at 7E because those who arrived there and wanted to buy tickets on the spot were on long, long, long queue.

This is the pistil? Wow.

All the LED roses were arranged in a hibiscus shape, which is Malaysia's nation flower. They were quite pretty. And of course we took some picture with them - the roses sea (玫瑰海 direct translate, lol).

There was a tower there. However, we couldn't see the whole picture
of the flowers. So i didn't get what is the use of the tower, haha.

Too bad Daddy was not around. :( Hope to have a family trip next year.
Conclusion is, it was pretty, not considered as an expensive event to spend with loved ones.

Bye! :)
